Operating Principle & High-Efficiency Performance
Our bitumen decanting plants utilize thermal oil heating coils combined with direct burner exhaust gas re-circulation to maximize energy efficiency and prevent coking or overheating of the bitumen binder:
Continuous Hydraulic Loading: Heavy-duty hydraulic pusher mechanism automatically elevates steel drums into the heating chamber and pushes emptied drums out smoothly.
Dual Heating System: Thermal oil heating coils melt the bulk bitumen inside the drum, while hot flue gases heat the outer drum shell to ensure 100% material recovery without leaving residual bitumen inside emptied drums.
Integrated Reservoir Tank: Melted liquid bitumen flows directly into an insulated bottom storage reservoir equipped with high-capacity heating coils to maintain optimal pumping temperatures.
High-Volume Bitumen Pump: Heavy-duty positive displacement pump transfers liquid bitumen directly to storage tanks, asphalt batch plants, or bitumen pressure distributors.
